Laura Curran's Campaign for County Executive Announces Raising More Than $500,000

(GARDEN CITY, NY) - Today, Laura Curran's campaign for County Executive announced it has raised more than $500,000 two and half months before the July filing deadline. Laura Curran is running to clean up the corruption, patronage, and nepotism that has left a mess in Mineola, and it is abundantly clear Nassau residents know she is the candidate with the vision and leadership to turn the county around. The more than half a million dollars the campaign has raised since November shows there is broad enthusiasm for Laura Curran's candidacy for County Executive.

In light of raising more than $500,000 two and a half months before the July filing deadline, Laura Curran released the following statement:

"I am thrilled to have the support of so many Nassau County residents who clearly believe I am the only candidate who has the leadership and vision to clean up the mess in Mineola and return our government back to the taxpayers. This is a huge milestone for our campaign, and it shows we have the resources and support to win in November. I have spent the last six months traveling around the county, discussing with Nassau residents how I plan to clean up the corruption, patronage, and nepotism that has plagued Mineola. Nassau residents are showing they believe I have the vision to turn our county around and make sure elected officials are working for the people they represent, not themselves."
